engineered cell culture devices
We are generally interested in developing broadly enabling technologies for cell culture. Our first efforts were focused on creating simplified peristaltic pumps and an updated spinning bioreactor for organoid maintenance. Since then, we have greatly expanded our repertoire. We have developed a novel method for rapid prototyping of cell-compatible microfluidic devices using a standard stereolithography 3D printer. We also employ a 5-axis CNC machine to fabricate custom bioreactors in support of various projects and grants. Given these capabilities, we enjoy helping other labs with custom cell culture needs.
